I just finished Agatha Christie‘s Death on the Nile a day ago and have had time to digest it’s overall impact. What a wonderful piece of writing! Though there are, at times, more repetition than moderns are prone to do the book sets up a whirlwind pace of Who Dun It mystery on the river Nile.
Back are our friends Hercule Poirot and Colonel Race to solve a mysterious murder of a rich heiress. The characters and relationships between them are fascinating and I truly lost the critical eye of the writer while reading through it. I was even tricked-my idea about who did it was wrong!
Well done Agatha!
